Our Story
The UK Gummy Company was founded by Tom Walsh in 2019
Tom enjoyed a successful career in Supply Chain Management, working for blue-chip organisations such as Revlon, Gillette, Alberto Culver, The Body Shop, LF Beauty and Cultech.
The role with Cultech in 2008 provided an opportunity to enter the nutritional sector. Through this role, Tom had the opportunity to meet and impress the incumbent Chinese Raw Material Supplier. This introduction was to play a pivotal role in shaping a significant career change.
The “buyer” was now to become the “seller”; in 2010 Acerchem UK was formed. After a phenomenally successful eight year period in which he built and created a commercial team of six and had generated over $50m in sales, the time had come to set up on his own and embark on a further career adventure, UK Gummy Company was to be created !
When pushed on what the UK Gummy Company will make as its priorities to establish itself and to be successful, the focus will always be on the customer, says Tom.
He quotes Sam Walton, founder of Walmart:
“There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the Chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else”
UKGC will have this mantra at the heart of its DNA. We will focus on achieving world class customer service by adding real value.
